And Cindy comes from a rich lineage & legacy of musical history, with her cousins, Larry & Fonce Mizelle being a super production duo along with younger brother Rodney coming along later, who was one of our drummers in our band as kids, have worked with the likes of legendary drummer, Harvey Mason, Donald Byrd, A Taste Of Honey, R&B band LTD featuring Jeffrey Osborne, Mary Wells, & the early Jackson 5 records. She was also featured in the Oscar winning documentary titled,

"20 Feet From Stardom".

PHIL J.C.! has previously collaborated for many years with longtime childhood friend & ENGLEWOOD'S OWN!, Scott Ferguson, aka M.C. HARD, which stands for, Honorable. Asiatic Righteous Descendant, is a lyrical genius & vocal juggernaut for the Kingdom of GOD & is the brother of Regis Branson, & who in my humble opinion, may be the most talented & gifted rapper I've ever heard, & I've practically heard them all from the very beginning. His delivery, diction & tone, is second to none, with never a word wasted on trivial or mundane lyrical pursuits only trying to impress. He possesses a rare gift & ability to wow the hearer with something they've never heard before, in a way they've never heard it, & always has something of substance & relevance to share with the listener, & he rarely disappoints. Scott has been a well known lyricist/rapper in the Holy Hip Hop music scene for the past 20 years with his former group "Cross Cypher" then going by the name of Minister Zion. He currently ministers under the stage name PRYZNA, which means Prisoner for Christ. He also recorded a hit club record with R&B/Disco legend Gwen Guthrie & ENGLEWOOD'S OWN! Brian Morgan called Naughty Times. He also toured extensively with The Sugarhill Gang, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five. He also had a leading role as an actor in the movie "Small Time" back in 1990.

PHIL J.C.! & PRYZNA, formed a rap duo back in the 80's thru the 90's called The Kingdom & they recorded an "Anti Crack" rap song called, "The Base Is In Your Face". And on the "Wheels of Steel" on several other tracks was my LIL BRO. & ENGLEWOOD'S OWN!, John "DJ Showbiz" Henry along with Norman "Skip Dog" Burns as music producer on several tracks!

Kevin also recorded his own self entitled CD called "Bassically Speaking" & toured extensively with OFMB & with disco legend, Gloria Gaynor as her Bass player. In addition he's collaborated with saxophonist & singer, Benny Barksadale Jr. on a funky jazzy cut called "Confirmation" available on iTunes now!

PHIL J.C.! also collaborated with longtime childhood friend & church worship team member & ENGLEWOOD'S OWN!, Wayne Wilkins, an amazing Guitarist, Bassist, writer & producer, who has also collaborated & toured with OFMB as a lead guitarist, & he's also collaborated with R&B singer, Leela James. PHIL J.C.! has also written a couple of articles for the Bergen Record Newspaper of Northern New Jersey on his experience living in a homeless shelter titled, "Suddenly Homeless" & an article about the local church called, "Has Church Become A Closet For Christians"? He's also written & contributed to church newsletters & articles for my former local assembly focusing on interpersonal relationships & Biblical teaching & instruction within the Body of Christ.

PHIL J.C.! also completed his 1st book entitled:"HOLDING ON WITH OPEN HANDS" which explores & explains all the hang ups & issues church folks have with giving & Tithing in particular. HOWOH was self published on amazon.com in early 2015.

Kevin "BUJO" Jones Discography, another childhood friend & band member from Englewood who began his professional career with the rest of our band at tender age of 13 years old with Spoonbread at All Platinum Records in Englewood NJ, under the tutelage of Joe & Sylvia Robinson, & then went on to be one of the premier percussionists in the music industry playing with the legendary Isley Brothers/Whitney Houston/Jermine Jackson & jazz great Charles Mcpherson & the funk R&B band Sunrize to name a few.

And last but not least, I wanted to give a special shout out to ENGLEWOOD'S OWN!

Brian Morgan Discography, one of the most outstanding, multi talented musicians & instrumentalists, writers & producers to ever be birthed out of Englewood New Jersey and, another childhood friend who I met way back in Middle School where many of my other childhood friends were from too! And to this day, I can't recall how our paths crossed, but when they did, the next thing I know, my mother's buying me my first guitar, & he's teaching me how to play it!

One thing led to another, & we're playing in a band together traveling all over the place to play as kids! And then the word got out that we were pretty good & All Platinum Records (later becoming the legendary Sugarhill Records where the very first Rap record was recorded by The Sugarhill Gang & then shortly after that, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five would record the critically acclaimed, The Message!, right in Englewood NJ where The Moments recorded the classic, "I Found Love On A Two Way Street" which the legendary Sylvia Robinson from Mikey & Sylvia & "Love Is Strange" & "Pillow Talk" fame, & owner of the label was the co-writer & producer! She would also become respectfully known as "The Mother Of Hip Hop" for recording the very first rap record with The Sugar Hill Gang called Rapper's Delight.

Our young band consisting of local kids from Englewood, Brian Morgan on Guitar, Kevin Jones on Percussion, Gerald Sanders on Bass, Joseph Sanders on Keyboard, Leslie Cunningham on Sax, Trevor Sanders on Trumpet, Ernie Clyburn & Rodney Mizelle on drums & myself on rhythm Guitar was given the opportunity to record with a young singing group called Spoonbread covering a Bee Gees & Al Green classic, "How Do You Mend A Broken Heart", which became a big hit for them as well! I actually missed recording & touring with them & eventually put the guitar down & picked up a Bass instead where I felt far more comfortable, but it all began with Brian!!!

And although we never did anything professionally or creatively together afterwards, in many ways, he was my first musical mentor who was responsible for inspiring me to do the things I eventually got the opportunity to do later on. And BTW, Brian also went on to collaborate with many of the great names in the music industry like Kashif/Johnny Kemp/Meli'sa Morgan/Gwen Guthrie/Melba Moore/Leona Lewis/Chris Brown/Brenda K. Starr & Debbie Allen. And he is currently working with a sensational young trio of brothers called, "The Melisizwe Brothers" who are taking the world by storm now! So he's still doing his thing!!! Much respect Brian!!! Thank You!!!
